The Gold Coast Homeschool Expo, hosted by The Home School Hub, promises a rich, family-focused experience packed with resources, inspiration, and connection for home education advice at any stage. ✅ Multi-level layout allows the expo to span multiple levels at the Robina TAFE campus, with booths arranged in a way that encourages exploration and discovery across themes of information to resources under one roof.
🌟 Exclusive Workshop Sessions by #Free2Homeschool! Visit The Workshop room throughout the day for expert-led sessions to help you build a workable plan and report for your child that meets regulatory guidelines, hosted by Free2Homeschool (these are ticketed sessions).

Spotlight: 101 Workshops

The 101 Workshop Room will host invaluable workshops and offer one-on-one guidance, ideal for both new and experienced homeschooling families:

  • Plan WritingThis practical session provides a step-by-step framework to help parents build an educational plan that meets legal registration requirements in Queensland, while remaining personal and meaningful to their child.

  • Report Writing – Learn how to craft engaging reports that clearly reflect each of your child’s annual educational progress from everyday experiences, this workshop will also be covering tips for multi-age reports and plans as well as tailored options for diverse learners.

  • Deschooling – This interactive workshop helps both new and experienced home educators identify where they are on their deschooling journey and navigate the mindsets holding them back.

  • The neurodivergent child – This session explores the root causes of emotional overwhelm and learning resistance in neurodivergent children, guiding parents to prioritise connection and regulations over rigid school structures.

  • Navigating curriculum – This open Q&A session offers tailored, expert guidance to help parents understand how to select and adapt learning materials that fit their child’s specific learning style.

Getting there…

  • Parking options:

    1. Free parking is available for Homeschool Expo attendees at the Robina Events Centre, located in Basement Level 1 and Basement Level 2.
    2. Please park only in the RED TAFE allocated car parks to avoid fines.
    3. Access parking via Paddington Place, off Robina Station Road for the easiest entry.
    4. Once you arrive scan the QR code and enter your vehicle registration to activate complimentary parking.
    5. Please note: Fines may apply if parked in non-designated areas.

  • Alternative parking options:
    1. CBUS Stadium carpark 6am-6pm | off East Lane | $5/day (Under the Vue development)
    2. Open Air parking | Paddington Place | $8/day
    3. Surrounding Street parking | subject to Gold Coast Council parking restrictions

  • Public Transport options: 
    1. Train | Robina Train Station just a 5-min walk
    2. Choose a bus route travelling to Robina Train Station or Robina Town Centre (less than 1km walk)
