Where we are in the community

Aug 28, 2024 - The Brett Whiteley Gallery Tour

Our homeschool community had a memorable visit to the Brett Whiteley art display at Logan Art Gallery, where students of all ages participated in a guided tour, learning about Whiteley's life, influences, and artworks. The experience was enriched by a hands-on mono printing workshop, allowing students to create Whiteley-inspired compositions. Special thanks to gallery staff Lesley and Michael for their expertise, making this a day of inspirational experience.

Aug 14, 2024 - The GSHS Market Day

With a stand offering information and support to the community, you can have a chat with us, let us know what you want to see from the advocacy with the Minister & DoE, or share your concerns. Some 2nd hand resources will also be available at our stand and we are happy to give advice about using resources in your home education journey in a way that enhances your child's experience rather than owns you.

Jul 29-31, 2024 - Neurodiversity Homeschooling Summit

Three days of workshops and presentations by experienced home educating parents and other professionals, covering a range of topics to enhance your home education experience with neurodiversity in mind.

Apr 16, 2024 - Rally 'Picnic @ Parliament'

We are available at the Speakers Corner with a mini-stage, and plenty to share! The Bill has been revoked and we are celebrating common sense prevailing. Police presence and visits from Members of Parliament will also occur throughout the day. Bring your picnic rug, your lunch & snacks, and some games for the kids to make it a fun day connecting as a community.
